Poem dedicated to the Twilight series
Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 8:03 PM
A poem I composed dedicated to the books in the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. It started off more to express myself in words but i thought it would suit the Twilight series as well. So i thought i might as well dedicate it to the series as well. The sun sets, the night creeps. The cold ever so binding, the dark shrouding like plague. Those eyes, ocher, ever glowering. It gets to me, even in the darkest of nights. It burns like frost, not one left unscathed. The chill bites in ravishment, body torn and lacerated. A contract of my soul, one that clings to flesh and blood. The covenant, spellbound. Indemnification, unnegotiable. Convalescence was a dream, only to be fulfilled in death. For love is beautiful, it will wither. Wither it will, falling petals gently embrace the wind. On the bed of winter's frost, it lies undisturbed. In spring's river, carried across the greatest seas. For summer will come, love will seed. Autumn's prelude. When love blossoms, rain faintly comes to life, for heaven knows it will wither once more. Labels: Poem For freedom is a crime

For freedom is a crime Pride trampled, Dignity crumbled. Like thieves cornered, Desperate and hungry. For freedom is a crime, don a suit of celebration and mime. For mimes are dumb, We are left with naught. Labels: Poem |
